Aieee!
Whew. Just woke up from a nasty nightmare. A variation from the one of my childhood where nuclear war has broken out, my family and I are trying to survive, and I have to watch them starve and eventually die from radiation poisoning. Yes, I used to dream about this on a regular basis when I was ten. I was a weird kid.
My dream tonight involved acid rain, mass panic, and my family separated. I knew that when the time would come my family would want to be together, but I just couldn't get to them. My cell phone wouldn't work, the traffic was incredible, and the rain was both torrential and ominous.
Ick.
I don't want to go back to sleep. Damn Cajun food and stupid CNN, giving me new nightmares. Like the old ones weren't bad enough.
