I imported my LJ (finally) and am testing the cross-posting, too. I am bummed with LJ but am not ready to cut ties. So, yeah.

For posterity, the Kid and I being our stupid selves:

melcreada: the train is cheaper but the schedule is just WEIRD, it only arrives at midnight and departs at 3am
thekid: maybe y'all could sail around the horn of Africa and shit...
melcreada: look, i'm not searching for ivory and scurvy, i just don't want to shell out $425 for an airline ticket
thekid: maybe you could snag a rickshaw
melcreada: how environmentally friendly!
