Is it too early to say Bah, humbug?
Here is a rundown of my vacation so far:
- took sister to medical clinic to get stitched up after she broke up a dog fight (see last entry)
- realized that, through my own carelessness, I am now in default of my student loan by underpaying it last month
- had to take a nice chunk of money out of my savings to pay the difference of last month and this month
- ouch, that hurt
- JP and I saw a 42" plasma TV at Sear's for $780 and hemmed and hawed about it until they were sold out everywhere
- have I mentioned the TV in our living room is 12 years old?
- I was going to buy a laptop, but now I am terrified that screaming meteors will crash into my house (I don't know why they would be screaming) and I will have no monies to fix it, just trash bags and duct tape.
Okay, I think that's it. I'm done complaining. Still on track for Nano, so that's good. Also, as my family is always quick to point out, we're all alive and together and all that hearts and flowers shit. So, I shut up and agree and go off to be cranky by myself. Sorry ya'll had to hear about it.

*HUGS again* 'Sokay to vent, you know. Because if you rationalize everything that goes wrong with, "Hey, at least I still have my health // my family // am alive," well, pretty soon, you could be having the worst days ever and not vent. And that, sweetheart, is a slippery slope.
