Ahhh...
Concert was EXCELLENT. Sarah has such a great stage presence even though she doesn't leap around or use pyrotechnics. She played guitar and piano and sang for almost 2 hours straight. What a voice! Fantastic!
Okay, when she first came out and started singing, I cried. Geez. How fangirl. But the truth is, I identify so much of her music with different parts of my life. Her 'Surfacing' album in particular was my constant companion during a very low period of my life. And I think she is an awesome writer who uses phrases and refrains that seem to resonate so deeply and clearly with the female experience. And I'm just shutting up now 'cause this is humiliating to be admitting. *^_^*
I usually think of myself as too old to go to concerts because I am a grouchy beotch in crowds, but I would SO go see her again.

8:22 am - Right. Am going to start reviews posthaste and knock them out in 3 hours.
8:24 am - Ugh. Review template looks weird on my PC. Will just make a few adjustments.
8:40 am - Boss cannot spell or set indentions correctly. Will just redo whole thing.
9:20 am - Ah! Break time. I wonder what's new on LJ...
9:45 am - Crap! Okay, back to work.
9:47 am - Really want to listen to my 'Afterglow' CD. Will help thoughts flow smoothly.
9:56 am - Have turned entire room upside down and cannot find DAMN CD.
10:01 am - Oh, yeah. I forgot I put it away in my storage case so I wouldn't lose it.
10:04 am - Okay, first review. Crap...I forgot my folder of notes/performance statistics.
10:07 am - La, la, la. Make it up as I go along.
10:08 am - Okay, seriously. I'll just do the good employees. Their reviews will go fast.
