You know what's fucked up? I really think this is a product of a) closed-mindedness and b) the presentism that plagues the anime/manga fandom in this country.

Yes. I watched it and it didn't quite have the snap and sparkle of some of the other Lupin I have seen. Nothing like Goemon holding Jigen in a close embrace a la Fujiko's Unlucky Days.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Harimao's Treasure has been panned by various reviewers, but it remains one of my favorite Lupin movies.
