I wanted stir-fried vegetables for breakfast and by God that's what I had! I love being an adult. Poor mom would have a fit if she knew I wasn't eating a more "acceptable" breakfast.

JP and I had a long talk last night. It was really nice, but it got me thinking. I had shown him some of my old high school and college photos and I have to laugh at the inane thoughts they provoked. Back then, my burning desire was for everyone to think I was a brain. But now that my knowledge is actually respected and valued at work, I would give anything to be that young and pretty again. Indeed, my vanity and self-absorption have no bounds! But these lame musings amuse me with the twang of irony most life provides.
