*blink, blink*
May. 3rd, 2003 01:35 pmArgh...can't sleep. Winding down from what can officially be listed as one of my Top Ten Worst Days at Work. Two high threat situations in a row (read: the people opening payments found white powder in envelopes with New Jersey postmarks). Our whole area gets shut down while I alternate between worrying about my employees and the amount of time we are losing in our production area (yes, I feel like a slug for worrying about stuff like that, but I can't help it).
False alarms, as usual, but talk about stressful! Trying to stay calm and handle the whole mess just drained me. Yet I can't sleep. Ugh.
Little questionnaire I stole from
whitereflection. Thanks, chica! ^_^

Time to Say Goodbye – Sarah Brightman ::memories of California come rushing back with a violence that takes my breath away::
3. Name three songs that turn you on.
NIN - Closer ::typical horny college student fodder::
Sex & Candy – Marcy Playground ::Mmmmm::
My Dearest Darling - Etta James ::old, sex-ay songs...woo!::
4. Name four songs that always make you feel good.
Maaya Sakamoto – Kiseki no Umi ::I don't know what the Hell she is saying but it makes me smile::
Aaliyah – Try Again ::if at first you don't succeed::
Come Away with Me – Norah Jones ::soft romantic song that isn't about broken hearts::
Crystal – Stevie Nicks ::any song that asks if you trust yourself and mentions the sea is cool::
5. Name five songs you couldn't ever do without.
Symphony #40 – Mozart ::This is the music I hear at the lowest points of my life. An inner drum and fife so to speak::
Angel – Sarah MacLachlan ::I hate Sarah MacLachlan for writing better poetry than me::
The World on a String – Ella Fitzgerald ::no collection is complete without some Ella::
Seasick Yet Still Docked – Morrissey ::'you must be such a fool to pass me by' - love the lyrics::
Life By the Drop – Stevie Ray Vaughn ::awesome song about the world of alcoholics; reminds me of my wild family::
