Sorry I have been out of touch...I know there are some people waiting to hear from me. Soon, I promise.
Strange, strange days. Good, but definitely a jog in my stride. JP arrived on Friday afternoon and has been slowly acclimating to our podunk city. We went to my parent's for dinner on Saturday night (figured he might as well get used to that right away) and I am happy to report that not only was the Kid on his best behavior, but he and JP seemed to hit it off. Yay! ^_^ It's so nice when your family likes your BF.
Worked ALL day Sunday. Blegh. Today, I took JP around to the post office and Walmart, etc. He bought me a fan for the apartment because it is wonky-hot around here. I fell asleep rather early and woke to find that he had set the fan in the doorway of the bedroom so I would be nice and cool. I love this man. If he ever stops being thoughtful like that, I'm gonna hurt him. *grin*
What else? Not too much. I feel very isolated, everyone is giving me a wide berth while I help JP get settled. Not a bad thing, just odd.
LotR lj communities are the epitome of time-wastage. I am too old to be obsessed with four little hobbits, an angsty warrior-king, and his pretty little elf Prince prince. *sigh*
Complaints: I have so many errands to run. I am broke. I am always tired lately. Due to the new "safety" setup at work, I no longer receive hazard pay. Have not bought a cel in a looong time.
But, I am happy. ^_^
