Things are looking up, attitude-wise anyway. I have been worried about work so much for the past two days, that my fear has turned into an angry bravado. I think I am channeling the Kid or something. I am all 'tude, impatient to get back to work and have it out with the director and Day Team Beotch. *juts chin out*
And yay! I still have money in my checking account! Woo! *dances around* Not as bad as I thought...enough for my Two Towers DVD and a little left over to keep me aloft 'til payday this Thursday. Go me and all my mad checkbook balancing skillz!
I had no idea there was a remake of the TV show 'Dance Fever.' It's...not good, but rather entertaining. I like it when the choreographer judge tries to give them constructive criticism without tearing into them. If they want to be professional dancers, these contestants better get used to much harsher critiques. We used to get yelled at, insulted, and bawled out and this was when I was on a high school dance team. We had a slew of professional people hammering out our routines and technique because the director was a megalomaniac Nazi intent on us winning every title we could get our hands on. We did, but at what price? Now, my knee can tell you when it's gonna rain because of a repeat injury I suffered therein.
ANYWAY. I'm blathering.
Yesterday, I spent the better part of the day watching E! I am such a slug...shamefully addicted to all their juicy, tabloid-esque shows. I must go watch a documentary or two to cleanse myself.
I also had the world's biggest baked potato. Mmmm...carby-goodness.
Today, I plan on driving to the outlet mall to buy Nay-nay her birthday present. But I shall NOT window shop! I will be strong...
