A cool bath. A glass of merlot. A few candles. And the LotR soundtrack. Does it get any better than that? I think not. Is it shameful to admit that I can drink half a bottle of wine and not even get tipsy? Meh.
Momster and I went to see 'Le Divorce' today. Eh. Was funny at parts, but the editing and superfluous bits were both choppy and distracting. Lovely background, though. Although, I don't remember Paris being that nice. Rather dirty, noisy, and rude. But maybe I was hanging in the wrong part of town. ^_~
Yesterday I treated myself to a sloth-on-the-couch-movie-marathon. I watched 'Reality Bites' (an homage to me and my college friends, OBVIOUSLY) and the first 6 episodes of the third season of 'Sex & the City' (okay, so I'm behind the times). And much fun was had by all.
I spoke with Paul today. Looks like she is still undecided about whether or not to get a divorce. It's depressing. She has been with Mike almost 20 years. They have always been so lovey-dovey. Scary. We draped ourselves over the Kid's bed and talked and talked. Not all of it was about her marriage woes; we talked about possibly going to see the Kid, JP, her upcoming gigs, love in general, and Davy-boy's birthday. I love that we can do this, since we never really got to do a lot of girl talk growing up. Being 9 years apart and her moving right after marriage meant that we missed a lot with each other.
But I'm rambling. So, I'll stop.
