Cheese it! It's the fuzz!

Last night after work, I experimented in recreating a drink I had awhile back called the chinchilla (AKA red eye). Basically it's vodka, bloody mary mix, and beer. That's right - a carbonated bloody mary. Mmmmm. Yummy.

Must go buy more beer.

I find that the older I get, the more I actually drink/like beer. Eep. I highly recommend Shiner Bock or Dos Equis Amber Lager for those who like a robust but not overwhelming flavor; Young's Double Chocolate Stout for those with a sweet tooth; and Kingfisher or Asahi Extra Dry for a mild-yet-foreign taste. And for all my beer lovers who are watching their weight, I love Michelob Ultra. Not exactly diet, but lower in carbs and calories.

Yeah, I got too much time on my hands and I drink a lot. But the Kid and I used to make a habit of sampling different drinks and beer was the cheapest way to go for a couple of schleps like us. ^_~

Today JP and I went out to eat Indian food. wOOt! Haven't been in awhile. I also broke down and bought Sarah Brightman's newest CD. Very Arabic-themed. I think Paul will like it.

Sunday I had to clean out a manager's desk. He had been fired for sending a threatening email to one of his employees. Like, DUH! But it was sad and I felt kinda bad about going through his stuff. Especially since most of his paperwork was coffee-stained. Ick.

I talked to Nay-nay and the Kid earlier. Nay-nay is going to Singapore for work-related stuff. Am soooo jealous. But happy for her, too. Now, THAT'S the kind of job I want (it's HR-related too...can ya beat that?)

I took a nap earlier and had a nightmare that we had a ghost in our house. It didn't seem very threatening, mainly moving stuff around and flicking the light switch off and on. The creepy thing was that when we hung up curtains, its face appeared behind them and it didn't like one of our friends. Damn malai kofta dreams!

Okay...end of babble. Off to go make reservations for our trip to Charleston to see the Kid. Double wOOt!
