Ahhh...

After waking from my nap, I spent time with the parents. Very soothing. They are the greatest cheerleaders ever! Nothing but supportive and encouraging while disparaging all who dare oppose their children. LOL...I could never duplicate their brand of parenting which is a mix of love, hero-worship, trust, indulgence, and just a dash of discipline to remind us who's boss. ^_~

I also went to see the surfing documentary 'Step into Liquid.' Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Beautiful cinematography. I didn't know what to watch, the surfers or the waves. Nothing brings me closer to happy tears than watching the ocean. *sparkles* Lovely stories to boot. I thought it would be a long commercial about pro surfing, but they went much deeper. Excellent and highly recommended movie.

The Kid called a little while ago, asking a Monkees trivia question (to which I had an answer, natch). He handed the phone over to one of his friends who promptly asked me what I was wearing. Nice. Soooo original. This was after the whole group sang the Monkees theme song in the background. Okay, okay. Awww!

Well, that sums up my fascinating day (minus the exciting Broken Toilet Escapade and Guess the Age of the Chunky Milk in the Fridge game). Beddy-bye time...
