Home again!

I went to Austin yesterday to meet up with Nay-nay and have a sleep over at her house. It was a last minute thing, but still much fun. She, Danny, and I met up at Ninfa's for dinner. Towards the end of the meal, the mariachis came to ask us if we wanted a song. Danny shook his head but they didn't go away. I was feeling very pleasant after all the beer I had drunk, so I asked for 'Cien Anos' figuring that they wouldn't know it because it is a waaaaay old song that rarely gets played anymore. Well, not only did they know it but they followed up with one of my favorite Javier Solis songs. Whee!

What else? We went shopping (of course) and played with her doggies (cute!). We also had a go at her DDR knockoff game, Pump It Up, where I proved that several years of dance lessons mean NOTHING when playing a video game. *snicker* If I was on beat, I kicked ass. If the song was slow or irregular, I couldn't get a point to save my life. But it was much fun and I want to do it again!

It was a lovely day, so I took the top off my Jeep. But as soon as I hit San Antonio proper, it got dark and drizzly. Figures. ^_~

I am super bummed because I got outbid on an awesome sketch this morning and cannot find another auction I *just* saw yesterday. Grrrr...why I don't bookmark something the minute I see it is beyond me. What a dumbass...

*ahem* But enough of that. I'd just like to give a little shoutout to all those lucky bitches (said with much love, natch) who are at Collectormania right now, stalking the hobbits English paparazzi-style. Ppffhht!
