*hack, cough, hack*

Finally watched Laputa. Mama Dola rocks my socks! Very cool character. And, as usual, Miyazaki plucks my heartstrings like a banjo. *sniffle* Highly recommended for all you folks who haven't seen it yet. BTW, you can judge for yourself: on the one hand the English dub has Mark Hamill (who is terrific) but it also contains James Van Der Beek (gag me) so beware! The Japanese audio is awesome, natch. Not sure, but I don't think the subs are a literal translation.

I watched all the Escaflowne DVDs I have on hand (1-6). I need to buy the last two so I can get some closure on that one. Not like I don't know how it ends, but...

As you can tell, I've spent the majority of my time off slugging around the TV. My Jeep was in the shop again and it just goes to show you that I have no luck with American cars (my Mustang had the transmission from Hell).

Anyhoo...just babbling as I have been wont to do of late. Must try and stay up 'cause work is tomorrow night. Whee! Not.
