Can't jump the track
Aug. 13th, 2006 10:25 pmRandom fact brought on by dinner: in my family, we ate pancakes with maple syrup and waffles with light Karo corn syrup. To this day waffles with maple syrup taste odd to me. I think that's why I only eat them at home, because no place I go to offers Karo. Waffles for dinner are the shit!
Went out last night with the regular gang. Poor Roberta broke up with her boyfriend of eight months and needed consolation. Stayed out until 4 a.m. So, a combination of too much beer and too little sleep left me feeling oogy today. However, some pho tai and a nap got me back in fighting form, enough to go see Monster House with JP. It was great - pretty scary for a kid's movie, lots of suspense, and a great story.
Okay, so in the past couple of episodes, The Venture Brothers have mentioned "chones" (Spanish slang for underwear), "foine" (hoodrat speak for "fine"), "live journal", and "teh sex." I think someone has been reading my journal. LOL!
