Weekend, don't gooooo!!!

1. HPDH update:

Melissa: *nom, nom*
Deathly Hallows: Aieeeee!
Melissa: *sniffle*
soggy pg 56: Oh, for the love of Pete! You JUST started! Wait until you get to page 475, you wussie!

I am a little over halfway through and have been sobbing off and on since yesterday afternoon. Truly, I have no shame. I know the books come under a lot of criticism and I can't say I disagree with some of the complaints, but I have grown to love the characters just as much as any in my repository of fictional family, friends, crushes, adversaries, and kindred spirits. *sniffle*

As an aside: my shoulders and pectorals ache from hoisting myself up in bed for hours on end last night. Guess I know what I have to concentrate on next in the gym...

2. Recipe update:

Recipe #1 was deviled chicken. Pukesville. Totally and utterly disgusting. I blame the mustard.
Recipe #2 was fried green tomatoes with country gravy and biscuits. That was a bit of alright, although I think I burned the butter by cooking on too high a heat. So my roux/pan gravy didn't taste like I think it should have. Oh, well. Ya win some and other times...you break even.
