New Year's Eve
Dec. 31st, 2008 06:24 pmWell, I was going to talk a bit about what a tough year 2008 has been, but then today:
- I narrowly (and I mean by INCHES) escaped being in a nasty collision with a Suburban
- JP and I went to my sister's house to pick up some sausage (yeah I don't know either) and she gave us a bottle of champagne to enjoy tonight
- We went to visit my parents and I sat for a time just holding my dad's hand
So, in conclusion, yeah 2008 was not the best. I lost some family and I lost some money. I didn't keep up with my resolutions very well and I am, as always, very much a work in progress. But I'm still here and I'm still kicking and I am still going to do my best to make 2009 better than previous years.
Being alive helps a lot with this promise (I am still a little freaked out over the near-accident tbh).
Anyhoo, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
