No news is good news?

I haven't posted because I didn't want to jinx anything, but my dad came through the surgery and is already out of the ICU, which is awesome. The surgeon said it couldn't have gone any better than it did, so I am just hoping and praying that the news continues to be good. His recovery is going to be rough, but we are just taking it one day at a time.
