I was pretty tear-free until they got to Hogwarts, then the tears of awesome came. It was just so great to have everyone doing their thing and being cool.
It kind of made up for the chapters of 'what are we supposed to be doing?' in the middle (I joked to Diffy that he could just skip to the chapter called 'The Deathly Hallows' and read from there.)
And yes, Luna and Neville <3. I was expecting Neville to do something like that given the prophecy.
I think it would be better without the epilogue though I wouldn't have minded an appendix. A friend of mine says they're ready for another 17 books to get to the epilogue... another points out quite accurately that the epilogue is a little fanficky.
