Washer/dryer has still not arrived. Cable internet connection is on, but who knows for how long? I had most unpleasant conversations with several Time Warner people that merely convinced me that the art of customer service is DEAD. And, then...
A while back, I admired and offered for a cel in someone's gallery. She said she hadn't planned on selling it, but when she decided to, she would post it on the forum and "drop [her] a line and the cel is [mine]." Well, she decided to sell it, posted it on the forum, I wrote her, and she said it was already sold.
Now, it's too late to do anything, but I am torn between just letting it go or letting her know that I didn't appreciate her actions. I mean, there was no formal contract. Unless you consider your word to be your bond, which is how I try to operate. Maybe she gets twenty offers a month for the cel and tells everyone the same thing. All I know is that I feel like I got shafted. And to be honest, I don't need to be spending the money. But, really. *sigh*
In the good news, the Kid and I joined some of my co-workers at a sports bar to watch amateur (and I do mean amateur) wrestling. Woo! It was sooo funny! I have never watched wrestling before because I thought it was just a super bad soap opera with sweat. But I had to admit I had a good time. One of the guys kept falling out of the ring, careful not to knock us over. The Kid and Javi were razzing him while the rest of us alternated between yelling and giggling. Good times. Good times.
I am really gonna miss the Kid when he goes off to join the Border Patrol. Little shit. It will be good for him, though. He needs to get his stuff together. *sniffle*
I could play that stupid mash game a million times. I'm just saying.
I keep getting Dom as my hubby, though. >_
