I'm about 7 episodes into season 2 of Merlin. I think season 2 is better than 1...a lot more pivotal moments happen and the relationships between characters are developed. It's been a while since I saw season 1 but season 2 also seems darker/more emotional. It's still good in a bad TV way...I have to keep watching now because I feel like I'm invested in the characters.
