I was hoping that it would be good, but I am a pessimist at heart and unfortunately I read several lukewarm reviews before actually listening to it.
I agree that the second half of the album is just plain awesome! Goodbye to the Girl is far and away my favorite, but there really isn't a stinker in the whole batch. A couple of throwaway songs but nothing horrible.
I am so glad and hope it gets the attention it deserves...
