Nothing new to report except I am addicted to making lj icons. But I think ya'll already knew that. ^_~
I had to pry myself away from the bookstore today. I hate when I get in these "moods" - I want to read/buy every book I pick up. I feel like a drug addict that has just stumbled into a meth lab. Jackpot! Love the lovely books. Smell good, nice type. A good turn of phrase and I'm all a-squee. Help.
Let it be known that nine times out of ten I do not pick a bunch of books at random and read them all the way through; I am more likely to *start* reading most and lose interest in about 75% of them within the first 50 pages. I am no great intellect. I like my TV and my internet forums, my fangirl tendencies, and various time-wasting tactics, thank you very much.
But this itch, this desire to devour books can be a little weird. Rather wish I had that fervor towards cleaning or maybe working out. Yes, a frenzy of both seems to be lacking around here. *grin*
And a little OT, there are some FREAKY LotR fans out there. I'm just sayin'. This is not the pot calling the kettle...there are some seriously scary folks out there. But I think that holds true for any fandom.
On my next day off I will DEFINITELY clean the bathroom, go to the library (oh, dear I owe some fines), AND work out. Yes.
