But I have tomorrow off. Yay! I bought some memory for my camera and I also indulged my secret love of tarot cards and bought another set (that makes three).

Now I can spend the day taking pictures with my digital camera.

Oh, the exciting life I lead!

Hey, Kitt...great to hear from ya! ^_~ Coolness...I may want to pick your brain regarding some of this. My brother has taught me the rudimentary skills of reading, but I still feel kind of awkward...like I don't really know what I'm doing.

This novice owns a set of the CLAMP X/1999 cards (long and slender, not to mention gorgeous artwork; however, most of my readings have been rather dark and of a warning nature with this deck).

A friend bought me a set of the Lord of the Rings tarot cards, which I have been practicing on since it is a smaller deck and easier to shuffle.

This latest deck is sort of a "training wheels" set for me since I have not been progressing very far on my own. They are called the Guardians of Wisdom and the art is very delicate.

My next two decks are already picked out and then I'm going to stop for awhile and work with what I have:

Lovely but expensive... (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cary-yale-visconti/index.html)

Mainly eye candy. (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/goddessknowledge/index.html)

Oooh...Weiss Kreuz tarot. ^_^

Like you really needed a quiz to learn you were "secretly evil"???

Hell, you could have simply *asked* me!

^_^

Tarot, eh? I don't think you've ever mentioned this before. Surprising, considering some of the...strange...things we've discussed.

Want to hear something crazy? I looked at your "eye candy" deck and recognized the art before the first two pics were fully loaded. Susan Seddon Boulet! (Yup, I knew her full name and everything.) ;-)

Darling, I have a lovely picture book chock FULL of her shamanistic paintings sitting on my bookshelf.....

*shakes head and smiles*

Does this man rock or what?!

^_^

Hope you are feeling better, pooky.

See what I did there? I called you by a pet name. You liked that, didn't you?

*grin*

*looks down and waves* Hi, JP!

Sorry I didn't respond last night, Joseishijin. My little sister was cramming for massive paramedic course midterm exam today. Crisis last night. O_o

Tonight *crosses fingers* things should be more calm and I can actually dig out my tarot decks and look at 'em.

I really wish I could have bid on either one of these (no one bid at all!) but...finances simply didn't allow for any frivolous purchases this month. *Sniffle*

(The WK tarot...soooo lovely! ^_^)

And this one is my version of scrumptious eye candy:

(Anelique 'tarot' cards, there actually is a major arcana deck, this set is only cards that are similar to tarot cards, but it's pretty!)

Well, gotta dash, my desk is getting buried in work!

No problem...I am in the middle of my work week and make a flying visit to my computer once a day. >_<

Hope your sister's test went okay...my sister studied to be a paramedic before she switched to Dental Hygienist school. Some of the stuff she had to know...WOW! Makes my brain hurt. LOL!

I actually did a reading with the CLAMP cards yesterday and got another "beware!" message. Meh. We'll see...I hope you get those WK tarot cards...droolage! ^_^
