I just lost my ENTIRE journal entry and I am pissed. Grinding-my-teeth pissed, so this will be short.
Good: will receive a bonus this year, 16.7% of my base annual salary (minus the 30% the government takes, natch).
Bad: until that joyous time, I am broke, broke, broke. Time to sell a couple of cels. Meh.
Last night I stayed up watching both the BBC and A&E versions of 'Pride & Prejudice' and have come to the conclusion that I do not like Colin Firth AT ALL. The failing is surely mine. I do love the BBC version, though I think it takes a few more liberties with the book, as far as who says what and when. Yes, folks...point and laugh at the geek.
In other depressing news, it appears that Wallis-Simpson may have cheated on Prince Edward. Another modern, romantic fairy-tale, pissed away.
And I'm listening to a song that reminds me of San Diego, leaving me with a strong craving for Oscar's. Lemon chicken salad and the best damn breadsticks you ever had.
