I have been working my arse off, letting my little light shine and whatnot and what did I do today? TOTALLY forgot about a meeting I was supposed to attend. Just completely flew out of my mind. Nice.

Evil Starbucks (INSIDE MY BUILDING, PEOPLE) has been calling to me. I had to cave and try their pumpkin spice latte. Not bad. Get rid of the burned coffee taste and it would be loads better, though. Their peppermint hot chocolate, however? Nectar of the gods. ^_~

In other news, helped the 'rents decorate the tree. Rather, I decorated the tree while they hollered at the TV as the San Antonio Spurs all but lost their 20 point lead in the fourth quarter. Typical.

I am supposed to be Christmas shopping for others, but whenever you let me loose like that, I always find lots of cute stuff for moi. Hee. So naughty.

I just started reading Guns, Germs, and Steel and the author has already pissed me off by completely omitting Spanish from his list of surviving, thriving languages. Um, HELLO? Spanish-speaking population is going through the roof (not that I'm proud of this, but whatever). It wouldn't have pissed me off so bad if he hadn't made a fuss a few paragraphs earlier about how historians and anthropologists forget so many countries/races. *cough* Sorry about that. [/nerd ramblings]

I think I know, more or less, what I will be buying everyone for Christmas. Now I just have to, you know, go and buy it.
