knows no bounds tonight!
First of all, I came home this morning with the hopes of a nap after Creepy Maintenance Man finished his work. No such luck. He took FOR BLOODY EVER and by the time he left, I had to run to pick up the Kid's birthday gift, shower, and get ready for his birthday dinner.
And what should happen next but that the Kid invites his ex, the Queen of the Harpies to dinner along with her Evil Spawn. I don't want to be uncharitable, but I hate this woman. I cannot like her. I can barely tolerate her. It takes every moral fiber in my body to be kind.
I did not possess this energy tonight. I managed to ignore her for the most part, although her Evil Spawn did attack me with a pair of chopsticks. Cute kid. A candidate for that hyperactivity medication if ever I saw one...
*sigh*
I was then rewarded for my hard-heartedness and general incivility by finding out that I lost out on a douga from 'Whisper of the Heart' that I have been eyeing for months. My own damn fault for not buying it when I first saw it. I'm such a tool.
I am very, very sleepy and very, very cranky. Someone, please love me. But not if you are the Queen of the Harpies. ^_~
