I've had about 3 hours of sleep since Sunday afternoon.
Today, after work, several wonderful things happened.
First and foremost, I spoke with JP after three days of phone silence due to our suck-ass work schedules. Next, the family and I celebrated the Kid's birthday (again) by going out for breakfast. Free food, yay! Then, the Kid and I went to see 'Cradle 2 the Grave' since our original plan was thwarted by (big suprise!) the Queen of the Harpies. In spite of all the bad reviews, I liked the movie. I just get a kick out of Jet Li. Heh. He's a talented martial artist and devoted to his family. Awwww...
Finally, the Kid and I went to the half-priced bookstore. *happy, albeit tired, dance* I was a friggen saint and did not buy anything, even though an anthology of poems about the sea and a collection of letters/stories/personal recollections about Louisa May Alcott tempted me SORELY.
Not-so-good-news: my cell phone is malingering. It is passing on into that Great Big Satellite Network in the Sky. I am thinking of buying a new one, but that's more money out of the Bring JP to San Antonio Fund. Yeesh.
Time to rustle up some grub and go hunt down the Boyfriend. *grin*
Yes, I said rustle.
