Episode 13 of Furuba will always be my favorite. Haru is so very, very bad! <3

Today I return to working nights for two weeks because I am a pushover feel the need to punish myself could really use the extra moola.

I want to buy a new bed (my old frame being bent and twisted from 3 moves) and have become enamored with the platform style. I like this one in java, this one, or maybe this one. I am going for a more minimalist look even though my bedroom is pretty big.

Eee! Love the soho one--well, actually, love them all! Good luck...my new bedroom set was just delivered Thursday; I had gone for a minimalist platform (in an espresso finish, v. much like your java) and I *loooove* it! (What's with the coffee flavors defining color, BTW?)

I have decided that contemporary/minimalist is my new thing. I love everything I have gotten in that style. (Which is, come to think of it, practically all the furniture in my house. The bills suck, but it is nice to have all new stuff.) It's very clean, elegant, and not overdone. And then you can always spice it up later with accessories (colored pillows, new duvets, that sort of thing).

Thanks! I am leaning towards the Soho. I guess 'java' sounds prettier than 'mud-brown.' *grin* More elegant. And when you're buying stuff from a place called willygoat.com, I guess you will take all the elegance you can get! LOL!

I agree with the whole minimalist thing: I am tired of my cluttered spaces. I am shoving all kinds of stuff into closets and trying to keep my artwork sparse. It's...uh...coming along! ^_^;
