Dammit!

Deep, long-term sleep has been eluding me. Went out with San last night and we were having a good time at a laid back, trendy bar that included red walls, dim lighting, and a band with a penchant for Violent Femmes songs. I wasn't too crazy about any of her friends, but them I never am. They are pretty, vapid people who run along the edge of what constitutes as a drug culture. Wannabe preppies with too much money and not enough brain cells. Oh, well. It's always interesting to observe. And I do like hanging out at cool bars and people-watching whilst I drink. So not a completely wasted evening.

I came home fairly early, slept for a couple of hours and then woke up. Been puttering around, with Castle in the Sky on the TV for background noise. Perhaps today I shall clean a little and maybe go for sushi. Huzzah!

I thought this was too hilarious: when I worked at a regular job in a regular office, I always stopped by the coffee cart and ordered the exact thing I typed into the Starbucks Oracle. Damn, I'm transparent even to an angry cup of coffee! ^_^
