Apr. 20th, 2004 03:36 amFinally saw 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.' It was the kind of movie that is at once so sad and beautiful that it's hard to describe in any other adjective other then 'personal.' The movie looks like every dream I have ever had: slightly hazy reality skewed by the bizarre.
I cried through most of the second half. I was so touched by the whole idea behind the plot: love finding its way home, human beings destined to make the same mistakes over and over, and the lengths we are willing to go to survive.
Aw, geez... *SOB*
In less watery news, I went into work tonight for a few hours 'cause they were short-staffed. My boss was rather upset. She really gave it to me and the other Associate responsible for the schedule. She didn't care that two people called in or that we got about twice the normal volume. I'm glad I got to share this with Theresa; we laugh about it afterwards and then later the boss comes over and makes nice because she knows that without us that place would go down the toilet. LOL...
And finally, goodness help us all...I cooked! It was supposed to be fish in a spicy tomato sauce but it turned out to be more of a fish stew. Still yummy though! Yay, me.
Also, iTunes rather rocks. Yes. ^_^
*snugs* and *kisses* ya'll!!!
