The sea laments
The livelong day,
Fringing its waste of sand;
Cries back the wind from the whispering shore -
No words I understand:
Yet echoes in my heart a voice,
As far, as near, as these -
The wind that weeps,
The solemn surge
Of strange and lonely seas.

No real point to this post. Am trying to sleep, failing dismally, and alternating between checking my email, reading my book of sea poems, and watching 'His Girl Friday.' I can't wait to go to Padre. I may go again in May if the girls go through with their plans of getting time off and shanghai-ing me. ^_^
