Wonderful day. We had a work-related picnic on campus, by the lake. Perfect weather, gorgeous setting. I didn't even mind that it was my day off and that I went early/stayed late to help set up and break down the event.

The beautiful weather also inspired me to roll up all the windows on my Jeep and that is always fun, too.

I also went shopping for some work clothes, since I am going to be attending some high level meetings soon and traveling as well. And it was just one of those days where everything I tried on fit great and looked fantastic. How often does that happen?! So, yay new work clothes. ^_______^

And finally, I must gush about the latest volume of Princess Tutu because it rocks and rolls all day long, sweet Suzie!

Things I Totally Groove on in the Latest Installment of Tutu:

1. Mytho is becoming a total playa!

2. Fakir turning red, running around the corner, and even sticking his face against the wall to avoid seeing Ahiru's "naked transformations" is beyond cute. Goofy Fakir is love.

3. You know, for a show with such a hetero fairytale plot, Fakir spends a lot of time holding a nightshirt-only-clad Mytho. Hmmmm.

4. I love how everything ties in together so well. In one scene, a character is dancing with the music of Giselle in the background. All the while, she is holding a spray of rosemary. Attention to detail, bitches! I love that. And I love the commentary on this one because they totally caught that, too and the ADV writer just pontificates about all the research he was compelled to do for the show. *wuv*
