melcreada: (shakespeare sexy back)

Heh - when I listen to music, I never hear the lyrics correctly. So, of course now that they play Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back a million times a day, I always hear Timbaland sing, "Who's your sexy ho?" instead of, "Get your sexy on!" I personally think my interpretation is an improvement on the lyrics. *shrug*

I also once recreated all the lyrics to Pearl Jam's Better Man because to me it sounded like he was saying Butter Man. She dreams of biscuits, she dreams of bread...can't find the butter man!

Yeah...

Aw, JP fixed my desk! *wuv, part deux*

I completely believe it. I wasn't in Dallas much, but I don't doubt it there. It seemed like everywhere I looked was just as bad. Like pre-civil rights south almost. My godmother's daughter-in-law is Mexican-American, and she was telling me horror stories, too. But it was seriously freaking me out when I was down there. And everybody was acting like it was totally normal.

Oh, when we were at this one restaurant, I saw this lady ordering a tall, interesting drink. When I asked what it was, they said it was something agua. I ordered it to try it out, and it was like spiced milk over ice. They told me it comes in a little bottle and you add water to it, but I can't remember what they told me it was. I swear leche wasn't in the name anywhere. Do you know what I'm talking about? It was good.

Yeah, it's always a blast to deal with. You have to laugh sometimes because a prison sentence for stabbing a biggot with a fork just isn't worth it.

Hrm. Was it maybe aqua de horchata? AKA the best drink in the free world (and also possibly the enslaved world)? Horchata looks milky but it isn't necessarily made with milk. I believe it comes pre-made in bottles. It's creamy-looking, but thin in consistency and has cinnamon. So yummy...

Although...if they are adding water, it sounds like a condensed type of drink. When I'm in the grocery store next, I'll check it out - we are LOUSY with Mexican food stuffs down here. LOL!

You'd have to stab so many people... <<

I think it was. That sounds familiar (and is typical of my bad memory XD). It's not made with milk? It was good regardless. ^^

Our international food sections here are so pathetic. DX I'm sure no one would know what I was talking about if I asked for some here.

*grin*

It can be made with milk, but more often than not it comes without. It's also called rice milk (you grind the rice up, let it sit in water, and then strain it and season it).

I am going to the store this Friday, so if I see the bottled version, I'll nab some for ya. ^_~
