AIEEEE!!! I got like 14 volumes of Lupin, the Maaya Sakamoto CD I didn't have, and JP finished the order off with Captain Harlock and a few other shows he wanted to sample.
I was tempted to get Kyo Kara Maoh, but I wasn't sure how it would stand up to repeat viewings.
For KKM, get the fansubs. The show is 78 episodes long, and there's no way I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD (and probably not buying on DVD - Sakura? Yes. This one? Maybe not.).

Heh. Yeah, I also would NEVER buy the Kenshin TV series (do you hear me, Right Stuf?!) because it's so long. ^_~
