melcreada: (christmas candles)
I know it's only the third day of December, but woo! Christmas! Woo!

I will be cursing it in about two weeks. LOL...

In the meantime, I continue to look forward to the following events:

12/9 - company Christmas party. Maybe I will curl my hair? AHAHAHAHAHAHA! *cough*
12/16 - Celebrate birthday with the girls. Yay for being downtown when it is (hopefully) cold, with all the sparkly lights and candle-lit walkways
12/17 - going out for birthday/anniversary family dinner. Maybe will have steak?
12/19 - JP is taking me for sushi on my birthday, a huge concession because the smell of it makes him sick. *mwah*
12/24-12/31 - various family and friend get-togethers, during which time I shall be grumpy and over-satisfied with the whole ballyhoo.

Can't wait!

Because I thought it was funny...

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Friday I pulled over and changed [livejournal.com profile] angelic_editor's flat tire (15 points). In May I gave [livejournal.com profile] wonderelf a Dutch Oven (-10 points). Last month I helped [livejournal.com profile] snowcalico hide a body (-173 points). Last Sunday I didn't flush (-1 points). Last Wednesday I punched [livejournal.com profile] whitereflection in the arm (-10 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-179 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
joseishijin

zomg I've been punched! XD A spanking for you! Twisted how not flushing is worth far less naughty points than giving a Dutch Oven. XD;;

Just a big casserole or soup/stew pot type thing. I forget what Mom called it when I was a kid, but it certainly wasn't Dutch Oven. ^^; Think I picked up the term from the times I used to read cookbooks obsessively (and yet now I never cook... ^^; )

Haha - they look like witches' cauldrons...

You would think with my large family I would know what something like that looks like, but no. Mom used an extra-large crockpot...

I never used or knew anyone who used crockpots until I got into college o_o Mom was not very kitchen-inclined, and Dad never used gadgets. The one pot they always used wasn't even non-stick, so I have no clue how they managed. D: Just was this heavy-clunky painted-70s-green-on-the-outside thing. But they used it like about every night, I swear.

Also, that icon *wins*. Made me giggle so danged much XD

I'm glad someone explained the dutch oven...if I knew what it was I'm sure I would be quite annoyed with you! ;) Although considering I only have a tiny toaster oven anything big and cookery like sounds good!

CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE! (and now I have the damn Chipmunks song in my head)
