melcreada: (charlie brown it's the great pumpkin!)

Had the day off today because I am working Saturday (6am-4pm, yuck). So, JP and I went to San Marcos to visit the King of the Hill exhibit at Texas State University. Tons of scripts, letters, and memorabilia from the show are being displayed and archived as part of the Southwestern Writers Collection. Lots of interesting stuff, including notes and rewrites and the like. Although I've never watched it regularly, it was still incredibly interesting to see how an animated show is produced. Sweetness.

In other news, I am also not a huge fan of Avril Lavigne, but she is responsible for SMAP singing the words, "Hell, yeah, I'm the motherfuckin' princess." Ergo, she can do no wrong in my eyes. So much awesome. Who the Hell got me watching SMAP again? *stares in the general direction of [profile] wonderelf and [profile] nurikot* LOL...

And finally, since I am being linkalicious, here is  your moment of zen, or as I like to call it: a bunch of Japanese comedians dressed like Valkyries and singing the Macross: DYRL theme. Mmmm, weird, random, AND funny. A delicious combination. Thanks to JP for bringing that crazy shit to my attention. ^_~

Yay, Halloween!

*chokes on drink* oh that was hilarious! Shingo "speaks" English and Kimutaku is perfect at everything, so they should very well know what "I want to be your girlfriend" means, heehee. Ah, the love of SMAP. But on a serious note, who the hell does Avril Lavigne think she is? Her music is certainly NOT punk, heck it's not even rock! Whoops, you don't need that lecture. XD Gomen!

Happy Halloween!

LOL! I have fallen under the SMAP spell. ^_______^

I have also developed a sudden crush on Teppei Koike, mainly from watching the Lovely Complex LA movie. *sigh* He is so wee and clueless! I love that!

*ahem*

ANYWAY - yes, Miss Avril is def. a pop tart. Dressing up like Punk Barbie does not a punk rocker make. Heh...

Halloween!

I absolutely adore Teppei!!!! After watching the second Gokusen, I decided he was my Japanese little brother. He's so adorable. Especially when he wears headbands. XD

SMAP! *dissolves* It's been faaaaaaar too long since I've YouTubed them. SMAP is just as addicting and giggle-inducing as Cop Rock. Though they're not the train-wreck kind of laughter that is Cop Rock, more the OMG, I want to put these boys in my tote bag kind of laughter. *G*

Happy Halloween!

LOL - Cop Rock!!! So much awesome...

Yes, something about those Japanese boys. So cuuuute!

I am on the fence, but I think Bistro SMAP might be the best show ever. Hmmm...

Happy Halloween!!!
