My love affair with shoes...

Ah, my sister. Lots of people don't believe half the stories I tell about her. What they don't know is I only tell the tame stuff. So, story time!

I'll preface this by saying Paul is doing a lot of things for my brother's fiancée, including making her flowers and invitations. Her head is full of weddings and she has, on more than one occasion, demanded to know when JP and I are getting married, so she can steamroller us too. Make no mistake about it - my sister is PUSHY.

Well. My co-worker came to my grandmother's rosary to give her condolences. I introduced her to my sister who, instead of saying "hello" or "thank you" opened up the conversation with, "Are you married?" She then launched into the Greatest Wedding Sales Pitch I Have Heard Since the Last Time She Called Me from Party City. The look on my co-worker's face was priceless. I shooed Paul away and apologized to my co-worker. But you know. Awkward!

ANYWAY. So, on to more pleasant topics. Like shoes. I am trying to decide on what to get and Zappos is not making it easy (they are my favorite store in all the world, seriously).

So here are my options:

Sensible.
I love suede!
Sexy and possibly painful.
Don't think I can wear these, but how cute are they?!
I'll admit I am getting a little old for Dr. Martens, but these are wicked!

Mmmm, shoes.

Okay, I'm off to pay my bills. Feh.

I am so in love with those Madden shoes it's not even funny (cause shoe lust is never a joke!) I went into DSW the other day to pick up a cheap pair of black work flats and ended up buying 3 >_>; (hey they were all at least 40% off)

Those suede ones are cute and look comfy! I love all the shoes you picked though. We think alike! Now I'm off to decide if I could work those Madden shoes into my budget and wardrobe...

No one is ever too old for Doc Martens!! And those are a rather awesome pair - the design is intriguing. Shoes are one of the most glorious creations of the clothing and fashion world.

Actually, a couple of years back, I bought a pair of tall white Docs with some beautifully delicate etching and I thought that I would wear them if I ever got married, ha ha!
