David Cook helped me stand out in my meeting today! My boss was out so I had to attend the daily staff meeting with the VP and other directors (eep). Right in the middle of things, they got off course, as they sometimes do, and started talking about music. One of the directors was asking about Chinese Democracy and another one mentioned that she wanted to know when 'that American Idol winner' was going to release his album.
I was able to impart my knowledge on DC's CD dropping (November 18th!) and fill them in on his SNL performance. Ha, ha! Those women really like David Cook. Cougar Collective! But we had a few fun minutes before getting back to the SUPER SERIOUS business of managing the financial coffers of our company.
I feel like it's weird to be excited by this...
