Wanna bust a gut laughing and still have your love of PotC-slash satisfied? Check this out!
Went to see 'PotC' again with the Kid. It was better the second time around, I think. The Kid loved it. I thought he was gonna hurt himself, laughing so much.
I am still getting "gentle" ribs from my family for not seeing them so often. The Kid, while trying to be funny, makes me feel like a slug. JP is, of course, totally understanding and practically frothing at the mouth to get me out of the apartment (kidding, honey...just checking to see if you are still reading *grin*). But it all still makes me feel guilty. Like I'm all that much fun to hang out with in the first place.
It is true that my family always tease each other, but when I whip myself into an emotional frenzy, it's just hell. Because once again my capricious sense of humor has decided to go on holiday, probably to the Caribbean. Heh.
For dinner, JP and I went to have Indian food and we discussed the idea behind Johnny Depp's flamboyent tendencies, i.e. foppish affectations abounded among the gents in that time period, maybe he was making fun of said gentlemen, or perhaps he used to be such a gentleman. Now that I think about it, his performance does have a certain 'Scarlet Pimpernel' flavor to it. Anyone ever see the Jane Seymour version? Truly excellent. Also, wasn't Zorro's alter ego, Don Pedro rather girly?
I think about these things too much.
So many things to do...I find great delight in avoiding them all. *sigh*
*snicker*
The truth comes out...

You're Slutty Aragorn! Be faithful to Arwen,
Strider! First Boromir, then Eowyn, Legolas and
HALDIR?!? Peter Jackson should rename Return of
The King to Return of The Pimp!

LOL...okay, I'll buy this one too...

Your medieval name is: Lisolette. Quiet and artsy,
you're different from the crowd. You have a
taste in music or art and are sometimes
depressed and private. You're naturally lovely.

Feel like having a little drinky on the patio and listening to some Alice in Chains. Yes.

Date: 2003-07-15 09:22 am (UTC)From:ROFL! *sniff* that was the most touching story ^_^;; I think Johnny was just playing the Cap a bit of a constant drunk and a little crazy...keeping it loose for the ladies (and by ladies I mean Orlando Bloom) and yes Don Pedro was a bit on the fluffy side, but I think it must be due to having to wear ruffled shirts and what amounted to capri pants, they make everyone feel extra pretty! :D

Yes, I must agree. When I wear capri pants (no comment on the ruffled shirts because I was in college when those horrid things made a comeback) I feel quite fluffy and pretty. LOL!
"keeping it loose for the ladies" - I think that's my new favorite quote! *grin*
