Island attitude

Well, tonight I went to go pick up some dinner for JP and a frozen drink for me. The evening was breezy and humid, the windows were off of the Jeep, Bob Marley was wailing on the stereo, and I was in flip flops. It was just like a night on Padre without the sand and the sound of the ocean! *grin* Perfect half hour of me singing along to 'Could You Be Loved' and bopping down the road.

Hung out at my parent's today and spent some time with the Kid and Paul. Okay, okay...we went to see 'PotC' again. So sadly addicted. But I swear it gets funnier every time I see it.

We are having a farewell dinner for the Kid tomorrow night (tonight...whatever) at the Filipino restaurant. Mmmm...I loves me some Filipino food. Lumpia and pancit and milkfish, oh my!

Oh, and by way of explanation: my new icon has something to do with a quote wonderelf made. She was referring to Johnny Depp's performance in 'PotC' but I think her words transcend the character and should be applied whenever and wherever appropriate. Like now. ^_~ Thanks, chica!

hehe if there was an intervention I'd be thrown into the pit alongside with you...probably with many many others...so since we have power in numbers we'll call it a compliment! woot! (hmm...did that make any sense...it's too early ^^;;)

I think most of our friends are too obsessed with their own various things to ever hold an intervention for us on our own hobbies...hee, I typed hobbits but realized my error and fixed it.
