want to be a nurse. Roberta came out of surgery and was SO sick. They had to keep rehydrating her and medicating her, so instead of 1 hour of recovery, it was more like 3. Her roommate and I finally got her home about 6 hours after she had the procedure done. Poor thing...
Later, I went to Borders and bought some literary goodies, compliments of the Boyfriend. He knows the way to my heart is to turn me loose in a bookstore. They didn't have the copy of Octavio Paz poems I wanted, but I was more than compensated with my other purchases. *sparkly eyes*
Nothing much else going on in my world. This morning was the Leonid meteor shower. The sky was clear but we are too close to the city, so I only saw a few. Still lovely though. Something about standing outside in the cold with not even the slightest breeze. Wispy clouds over the moon like a veil...and one or two meteors streaking across the sky in flashes of pure white. Something that fills my heart with joy like nothing else in this world. Except maybe JP (and don't think I didn't notice that Juanita Nightingale comment, mister!)
Heh. Going to bed so I can get up and go shopping with Momster tomorrow as well as mail some cel packages.
Am thinking of putting some more, higher quality stuff up for sale, but I'll probably weenie out at the last minute. *grin*
