It is doubtful whether anyone has actually referred to cold mashed potatoes on a dinner roll as ambrosia, but that's exactly what it is - food of the gods. *snicker*
Kinda reminds me of a Robert Fulgham essay I read once about certain food acting like a sensory memory and standing for home and comfort. I think once upon a time I was very happy eating cold potatoes on bread. LOL!
Not a whole lot to report. Worked the past two days and am going back this morning. We are receiving our 'Team of the Quarter' award from the head of our company division tonight. Pretty impressive. However, that means I will be working a full 13-hour shift. *big sigh*
In cel news, Cindy has become my Christmas angel...er, devil. More as it becomes available. I think I am going back to bed!
