See? What did I say? Last night, I put on Fushigi Yuugi (don't laugh...I am very sentimental about that show ^_~) and promptly fell asleep to "MIAKA! TAMAHOME!"

*snicker*

Had a very sad/bad dream involving JP so it was a good thing he had already gone to work when I woke up 'cause I was a little...emotional. Feel better, though I hate my subconscious sometimes.

Wow...LotR got 11 Oscar nods. Impressive. I would have liked to see some of the actors get nods for all their great work, but I kinda had the feeling that no one would. Sean Astin, in particular, blew me away. ;_;

So pleased to see Lost in Translation up for some awards as well as the little girl from Whale Rider (most excellent movie). I'm sooo rooting for Johnny Depp! wOOt!

I'm just babbling because I am waiting for them to announce what our bonus will be this year. Manager's meeting set to start in a few minutes.

I'm so torn this year! LoTR? Johnny Depp? Bill Murray? I have to admit I do want Sophia Coppola to win a smidge more than Peter Jackson for best director. She's only the 3rd woman ever nominated for that award and she made Japan look so mystifying, but beautiful at the same time.

I'll cross my fingers that your bonus is yooooge (as Donald Trump would say) XD

I know what you mean. Personally, I think Bill Murray has a better chance than Johnny Depp, hence I root for Johnny because he is such an underdog. Also I love his interpretation of pirates as the gayest rock stars of their time.

If either LotR or Lost in Translation won, I would be happy. Those were definitely my two favorite movies of the year. Woman power! ^_~
