Things I Would Like to Do with My Bonus
1. Reupholster the sofa...it's looking a mite dingy but it's sooo comfy (a nice dark red methinks)
2. Buy a picture phone because they are so cool (I'll probably hem and haw about it forever)
3. Purchase my domain (shouldn't be very expensive)
4. Take some bikram yoga classes for da stress (pricey, that's why I've been hesitating)
5. Put the rest aside for various trips/vacations I want to take
Whee!

Date: 2004-01-28 02:56 pm (UTC)From:Anyway, I took bikram yoga for a couple terms while in college. It was an at college class and only an hour long so it wasn't the full deal and we only got to do each pose once and we thankfully weren't in the recommendly hot hot hot room. Very sweatifying and sometimes I was in positions where I was sure my foot was going to break off due to the pressure/blood. Of course, not sure what I was doing correctly and not. Felt good after each session, perhaps a little more so than any good workout, but had a hard time dragging myself there. Now you have me wanting to dig up my cheat sheet of poses and try again...
And a big yay for your raise/bonus hon, rah rah rah!!

Date: 2004-01-28 09:21 pm (UTC)From:Thanks for the feedback on bikram...a friend of mine tried it and it worked wonders on her high blood pressure and diabetes (she was able to get off all her meds). So, I thought I'd give it a try. Oh boy...unnatural positions! I wonder if I'm stil flexible. *grin*
Whee, bonus! I'm trying not to get *too* excited as the money isn't in my pocket yet. ^_~
