Eek!
raisai, I'm sorry! I totally forgot about xane's card. ;_;
Well, I was whining about Valentine's Day earlier, but I feel a little better now and made that entry private. I think sometimes my melodramatic sensibilities tend to drown out the "normal" voices in my head. Not my heart though...it will always be Drama Queen time in there. ^_~
Part of my mood improvement had to do with my co-worker calling me and letting me know that she won't need my help Sunday night (go, me). In celebration, I decided to have a LUSH bath using the Blue Skies bubble bar. Then, I slathered myself with their Potion lotion. Verra nice. I feel cool and refreshed and smell like carnations and patchouli.
I have always been a Bath & Body Works girl, but there's no reason why I can't expand my horizons. ^_~ The best part about the bath? It's so cold here that you can see the steam rising from the bathwater. Heh. Major props to
jinxorama for pointing me towards the LUSH products.
It's funny...I don't think of myself as "girly." I don't like dressing up and I rarely wear makeup and let's not even talk about what I don't do to my hair. I shocked a room full of women once by admitting that I don't own a hair dryer or a curling iron. It's not that I don't know how to use them; it's just a lot of time I don't have and a lot of trouble for (IMO) minimal improvement. Know what I'm saying? ANYWAY, what I'm trying to spit out is that my beauty style is low to no maintainence. But I love bath stuffs, face masks, lotions, etc. Gotta try them all! Go figure. ^_~
And now I'm shutting up because I've talked far too long about this. Time to go finish JP's V-Day gift.
