Back home finally. I am thrilled to be reunited with JP 'cause I missed him terribly. On the downside, all the stuff I left undone is still here. I didn't do my homework and subsequently skipped class. Also, I miss the Kid. ;_; I wish he wanted to be a computer programmer or an accountant rather than a gun-toting Border Patrol agent. Makes me worry more than I care to.
All in all, a good trip. The smell of the citrus groves will stay with me as will the memory of zipping up and down mountain sides in California. We didn't do a whole lot but we laughed often and talked much and drank mightily and if that doesn't describe a good time, then I don't know what does!
As Sara Teasdale once said, "My heart is heavy with many a song." Indeed.
On the top of my to-do list:
- complete my homework
- laundry for God's sake!
- do my tax returns
- figure out what the other Associate and I are going to do for our Management Meeting presentation
- plan an activity for the leads at our next meeting
Hmmm. Could really go for a hot bath right about now...
