Paul Potts has brought me to tears every time I watch his performance on Britain's Got Talent. I love the beauty of his voice. He may not be Pavarotti, but the emotion and just guh! of the piece he is singing. *loves it and Turandot and everything associated therein*

I have an interview on Tuesday, but I am going mainly for practice - the job looks and sounds like tech support. Why they would want me, of all people, is puzzling, but you know. What the Hell.

The other night we went to see Kwaidan as part of Texas Public Radio's Cinema Tuesday series. Um. Yeah. 60's Japanese horror movie. Not bad. Just. It's like...when I was nine, my brother took me to see The Changeling. We walked home and it was foggy and my brother thought it would be funny to hide and jump out from behind a tree to scare my weenie 9-year-old ass. I ran home screaming and in subsequent years I refused to watch The Changeling, convinced it was The Scariest Movie in the Universe. I was finally forced to see it again a few years ago and I was all, "Huh. That's IT?! Lame!" I actually laughed a couple of times. So yeah, it was like that.

No more rambling. It's time to get my Netflix on!

Good weekend, in spite of a fairly crappy Saturday shift. Work just sucks sometimes.

However, Taco Night cheered me up immensely: crispy tacos with guacamole, all homemade by yours truly. Taco Bell is still tastier (and cheaper, can you believe that?!) but it was fun to chop and cook everything up. And huzzah for the Dos Equis Amber that lightened my load!

Today we went to see Curse of the Golden Flower.

And in the humiliating news of Melissa, I have to report that a cute boy at work flirted with me and I (brace yourselves) ran away. That's right. I beat it the Hell out of there. I am pathetic. I don't know why he was flirting with me - obviously he was bored or there is some nefarious bet going on in his area, but Dimples (as the other ladies and I refer to him) has stopped me twice to ask my name, how I was doing, and what my plans were for the weekend. He's like 12. I should be flattered, but I am mortified. To all my single friends: don't take my love advice anymore. I have been benched too long.

I'll laugh about this...someday.
