It's that time again: I am creating a poll to gather addresses for the annual Christmas cards! Please to be putting your address here and I will send unto you a card with many warm wishes and possibly some sparkly glitter. ^____^
[Poll #1091516]
So much for a relaxing vacay. Yesterday morning, my sister called at 8 am and asked me to come over immediately. My sister never calls. So I went over to discover her leaning over in the bathtub, her clothes covered in blood and her arms chewed up. She had broken up a dog fight in her house (she rescues strays). She was light-headed and had no strength in her hands. So, I cleaned her up, tended to the injured dog as best I could, and took her to a med clinic where they shot her up with antibiotics and stitched up her arms. She's okay, but this wasn't the first time she's had to break up a fight among those animals. I think she is crazy.
Afterwards, JP and I went shopping and got home just in time to throw on our '80s get-ups for San's daughter's birthday party. My leg warmers were a little tight TBH. JP looked awesome with a heavy metal hair wig. It was nice, but somehow I agreed to go watch San's hubby play with his band a couple of times this week. Not that it won't be fun, but you know. Late night, expensive beer, and smoke in my clothes. Gads, I'm old. LOL...
Anyone else going to venture out on Black Friday? I am on the fence. I haven't seen anything must-have. Maybe one or two items that I wouldn't mind fighting for. And speaking of the holidays, one of the stations here in San Antonio has been playing all Christmas music since the day after Halloween. What. The. Hell.
