JP is in Moab, UT. Woo! That's near the border of Colorado. That's like 15 hours from here! He will be spending a couple of days in the desert, checking out the sites. Eek! Must finish unpacking.
I alternate between ecstatic happiness and mild panic attacks. I mean, the last time I lived with someone, it was awesome for the first few years and then it all went to doggy-doo. Of course, that was a long time ago and I like to think I have grown and learned from my mistakes (yeah, right).
It's not that I don't think we aren't perfect for each other. I just don't want to mess up. And I know that you can't really "mess up" and that it takes two to make or break a relationship. But I have been burned in the past and, for the first time, I am truly feeling the ache of that scar.

no subject
My head tells me there is nothing to worry about. I just don't want my insecurities and neurosis to freak out. I am a VERY emotional person and sometimes I get so used to sublimating it that I forget that everything just builds up and wants out.
But, when I'm with him everything is wonderful and I know deep down that we'll be happy. He'll be here Friday. Eeee! ^_^
